Occupational Employment and Wages

Overview Tab

This tab provides a general overview of a selected area, industry, and occupation.

The wage estimates are updated from the time of the survey Q2, 2014 to the current quarter using the latest available Employment Cost Index from the U.S. Department of Labor. Although this process does not consider seasonal factors, in most cases, it should provide a fairly realistic estimate of what someone doing the job today might expect to make.

If the 'Show survey year estimates box' is checked, the wage estimates are automatically reset to the survey year estimates. No estimates later than Q2, 2014 will be displayed.
